Good to know.

Will it keep pressure off my sensor when I sleep?

Compression on a CGM happens when something presses directly on the sensor. Fayn's rigid honeycomb dome holds a hard cover above the sensor, so your weight rests on the shield's rim, not on the sensor site. Fayn is a protective accessory and doesn't touch or change your readings; keeping physical pressure off the sensor is simply what it's built to do.

Is it comfortable to wear all day?

The base has a soft, flexible rim and a breathable woven strap, so there are no hard edges digging into your arm. Nothing inside the shield touches the sensor or its adhesive.

Can I wear it for sports and workouts?

Yes, that's the point. The honeycomb lattice is designed to take impact from doorframes, gym racks, and contact sports and spread that force across the structure instead of your sensor.

Is Fayn a medical device?

No. Fayn is a protective accessory. Think of it like a case for your CGM. It is not a medical device, it does not touch or alter your sensor's readings, and it is not affiliated with Dexcom, Inc. or Abbott Laboratories.
